Happy Mother's Day from E Custom Cards! 05/15/2012
I had a beautiful bunch of orders for Mother's Day this year - I really love these cards! One lucky mom even got an 8x10 keepsake drawing of her family. And don't forget Father's Day is coming up... place your orders as soon as possible! Add Comment Introducing the newest member of the family! 04/23/2012
Hello ECC fans, sorry for the long blog silence. I was just a little bit busy... having my baby! Our second son, Julius, was born on April 6th and we are all doing great. I am still taking card orders - one of the benefits of being able to work at home! - and staying in close contact with ECC customers to make sure I can get orders out in time to meet your deadlines. As always, just email me if you have questions about how soon I can fill your order. I'm training Miles to stamp envelopes... we'll have both of these boys put to work in no time. (To get your newborn baby fix you can also follow my personal blog The E is for Erin.) Picture Time! 03/14/2012
Miles's Birth Announcement Keepsake 03/09/2012
Today on my personal blog I posted and wrote about the keepsake that I finally drew for my own (not-so-little) little boy! ECC Fan Love 03/06/2012
One of my customers (and friends!) wrote a review of her E Custom Card experience on her blog today... take a look at Theories of a Thirtysomething! Illustrations for NE Friends of Midwives 03/05/2012
Nebraska Friends of Midwives has a new blog post up about the process of creating or changing state laws, illustrated by yours truly! It was fun to work with Rachel from NFOM on this project, not only because she is super cool, but also because it’s a great cause and I’m happy that my doodles can help in some way. Check their blog to see my drawings, and if you are interested in more ways to help pass this bill that would allow midwives to attend home births in Nebraska, there is a petition to sign and a page about more ways to help. Valentine's Birthday Giveaway Winner... 02/21/2012
And the winner is Sarah Marcotte! Congratulations Sarah - send me an email whenever you would like to claim your prize of a free couples card. Sarah has ordered from me before - in fact she inspired my birth keepsakes when she ordered one for her first son Oliver. Thanks Sarah! Happy Valentine's Birthday! 02/14/2012
Happy Valentine's Day E Custom Card fans! And guess what, it is also the 1st Birthday of E Custom Cards! I launched ECC a year ago today, from the public library as it happens, because my home computer chose THAT MORNING to call in sick. Ah, memories. Friends of mine had helped me get the ball rolling by sending me my first card orders, which I filled for free, in order to set up my Order page and show future customers some examples of my work. My illustration style has evolved quite a bit over the past year as I kept pushing myself to capture that special something in each cartoon. Valentine's Day is about showing love and appreciation, so here's what I'm going to do. It's a little complicated so stay with me. If you're reading this you probably already Like ECC on Facebook, so tell a friend to visit my Facebook page. Ask them to leave a comment on the wall saying you sent them. And you will BOTH be eligible to win a free Couples Card for any occasion - love, friendship, anniversary, whatever you like. The winner will be chosen randomly from all submissions, and I'm going to leave this contest open for one week - it will end on Tuesday the 21st at noon. Happy Valentine's Day and thank you!! Daily Worth 02/13/2012
E Custom Cards was featured as part of a Valentine's Day gift guide on Daily Worth last Friday: Must-Have V-day Gifts for Under $50. Thanks for spreading the word, DW! After seeing their article I ended up signed up for Daily Worth myself, because it looks pretty cool: budgeting, saving, and smart spending tips for women, and Create Worth for entrepreneurs. Pretty cool! Custom Coloring Books! 02/04/2012
Yay!! I'm so excited to launch my Custom Coloring Books because I think you're gonna love these and the kiddos in your life will too. The coloring book is 20 pages of drawings to color, 10 stock illustrations that I choose for you and 10 custom illustrations that you come up with yourself. They can be anything at all that you want... Miles's book has pictures of him, his parents, his dog, and some of his favorite toys and things. These make awesome gifts for kids, but you know what? Some adults like to color too! The book is standard letter size with white pages and white card stock covers and a plastic spiral binding. Now available on the Order page for $15! | e custom cards
